Mr. Stephen Cryan

Dear Mr. Cryan,
I am writing this letter to apologize for the defective products that were delivered to you last week.  The products that were given to us by our supplier passed their quality control standards.  However, we were informed later that the products were being recalled by management after
finding out that there was a defective part installed for the batch of products which includes those delivered to you.
We know that this problem has caused an inconvenience to you and we understand your displeasure over the incident.  We will be replacing the products and delivering them promptly without charge and we will also be refunding a portion of your payment as a charge as per our contract.

We hope we will not lose you as a loyal customer due to this incident.  Please call us should you have any more problems with the delivery.
Sincerely,
Pamela Blackstone
